The World Series of Poker has released its official schedule for this year's events, and it looks like we are all in for another thrilling season of high-stakes poker.

With the schedule being public, the anticipation is building, and quite quickly at that! You can prepare accordingly by making plans and jumping on flight deals or grabbing hotel rooms before they are all booked.

All players can also get a head start by figuring out how they will qualify, maybe hitting up regional events or working on their bankroll for the main event.

Tournament venues confirmed

The biggest poker tournament will once again take place in Las Vegas, reinforcing the city’s status as the centre of the live poker world. It also has the scale and infrastructure required for such a large tournament series.

The play will run from May 26 through July 15 in the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, both of which have hosted recent WSOP editions.

All in all, the entire schedule is set up in a way that everything runs smoothly. Registration is quick and transitioning between events is really easy. All with the goal of keeping the action moving without any hiccups or issues.

Featured poker formats

This year's schedule shows quite a range of events where all kinds of fans and players will be able to show their skills and how they've mastered the art of bluffing in poker.

Those eager to diversify their play or to test their abilities in different arenas are in for a treat, as this is one of the most inclusive and engaging poker calendars to date.

The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship remains the centrepiece, which draws the largest fields and the most excitement. But there is so much more than that in the lineup.

The schedule features a thrilling selection, including:

  • $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship
  • $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em
  • $500 Colossus No-Limit Hold’em
  • $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em
  • $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha
  • $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold’em
  • $50,000 Poker Players Championship
  • $1,000 Mystery Millions No-Limit Hold’em

Each of these will be available to watch online, as the official WSOP YouTube channel will host a free daily livestream.

Early planning for global players

Many attendees can plan their participation well in advance, all thanks to the confirmed schedule. International qualifiers often secure their seats through online platforms before travelling to Las Vegas.

Professionals frequently map out multi-event strategies across several weeks, while recreational players target specific bracelet events. That kind of structured scheduling helps players manage their budgets in a better way, as well as take care of accommodation and tournament entries efficiently.

Focus turns to participation and prize pools

The poker community is buzzing! Players can’t stop speculating about how large these tournament fields will be. Right now, the atmosphere is electric. There is a strong feeling that we are on the verge of breaking some records, for both attendance and prize money.

If you are unable to attend and will be just looking from the screen, we suggest you brush up on your poker skills with our handy guide to online Video Poker and one about online 3 Card Poker basics. Then, you can train and test those at all the different poker games online.

Back to the schedule, we can also hold our breath about the anticipated Player of the Year competition. It awards a $1 million total prize pool, and the winner alone gets a $100,000 package to WSOP Paradise.

The race officially begins at the World Series of Poker Europe, which is scheduled to run from end of March until April 12.

The excitement all around does speak about these upcoming events and for poker as a whole. The game is now more accessible, more people globally are getting involved, and that lights up the entire scene.
